The Community Kitchen

About Us

What is a co-shared kitchen?

Just like it says, our kitchen has a fully equipped commercial cooking line supporting 20 workstations, each equipped with an undercounter chiller and 2 hob induction stove, with all the pots and pans you need to get the job done. The facilities include ambient, chiller and freezer storage, as well as a 100 seat, in-house restaurant to feature different members and their products. As a chef and an entrepreneur, our founder understands the needs of aspiring F&B entrepreneurs and as such, created a space wholly for their development, growth and aspirations for their business.

Never has there been a space like this for our F&B start-ups. Members have access to:

  • A fully-equipped commercial kitchen with flexible booking options.
  • Opportunities for networking, collaboration, and community events.
  • Business support services, including marketing, branding, and operational management.
  • An in-house restaurant for product validation and real time sales experience.
  • Delivery platforms members can join to sell their products;
  • Share expensive resources like cold storage, equipment, and cleaning supplies.

Pay It Forward

We request that you contribute to community action to help make The Community Kitchen sustainable and viable. Building your business is important, but building a life is even more so. Spend time with family and friends and give back to the community.
Part Of Founders MessageAlthough my intention started out as a personal goal. It evolved into something more. Being a corporate man for most of my career. I did what I could to raise the barrier of entry into business. Now I’m doing what I can to break them down. People will say, “stay where you are. You’re fine now, why are you doing this?” Or “just make do with what you have.” Have you heard of this? I have. The journey was a lonely one. I don’t intend for others who have it harder to make that trek alone. I want to do something which makes it a little easier for them to get back on track. To spend what little time with their children before they grow up not needing you at all.    All I did was to grow a deep concern for social and environmental justice. I may be one man with only one voice. If I can somehow, just make it easier for others. I think it would be enough, because the person I helped would be able to pay it forward. It all starts with a single step.
What are the Benefits of a Shared-Use Kitchen

Staying Compliant is as Easy as Pie

We make it easy for you to stay compliant. Whether its licensing, business registration, accounting compliance and insurance. You’ll have the peace of mind knowing we have your back.
